Here is Anthony striking a pose in one of the featured foghorns down at the newly revamped Auckland waterfront Wynyard quarters.  We had a spectacular brunch with our good friend, Janice.

Hello everybody, here's a quick story of manifestation which happened yesterday.  I was on the bus heading out to meet my friend for coffee and a chat, when I noticed outside my window it was RAINING VERY HARD, I then had this thought (and it was very clear in my mind), I wished the bus driver would stop right outside the cafe where I was meeting my friend, but I also knew the bus route would take me a block away from my destination and I would have to walk in the rain.  However, just as I finished thinking that, the bus driver didn't take the turn he was supposed to, & when he finally realised he had gone the wrong way, he stopped the bus and apologised to the passengers, but for me it was perfect - because HE HAD STOPPED RIGHT OUTSIDE THE CAFE that I was suppose to meet my friend at.  I smiled and thanked him as I got off,  and then thanked the universe for the lovely miracle.

Sometimes, you just do things even if you don't know why you do them, but then, later on, perhaps that same day, or the next day, or even after a week maybe two - you get the answer as to why you initially made that  unexpected change, sometimes even going in a completely different direction that may have been awkward or even uncomfortable to do so.  YESTERDAY, was one of those days. It started off with a little negative feeling - having no particular reason as to why I would feel that way, which then started to grow into a constant annoying nagging feeling and eventually a feeling of dread came over me which couldn't be ignored anymore.

You see, I had made a firm plan to meet a good friend and have a bit of a girl's night out and watch the rugby match of the All Blacks vs the French in the city at one of the many vibrant, exciting bars all geared up for the big night.  We had both been looking forward to it for a few days as we get together and discuss our recent experiences, and share Spiritual wisdoms etc, but then, I started to become aware of the feeling that it wasn't going to be such a good idea, and that I should cancel our arrangements.  I didn't want to do that, because there was no reason to (at that time) and both my friend and I were looking forward to it.  I certainly didn't want to disappoint her, and it was very uncomfortable thinking about telling her if we could not do it, and not giving her a good reason to not do it.  In the end I did say to her, that I felt that I needed to spend more time with Anthony that night which was what I was feeling at the time, although not a very strong feeling, and certainly I didn't feel like it justified my change of heart.

Being the wonderful friend she is, she was disappointed, but understanding, even though I felt like I had let her down.

BUT THEN, LATER ON THAT NIGHT, I received the confirmation that what I had done earlier was right - everything made complete sense, thank God. What had happened was that Anthony became ill, and, actually had a very tough night and morning.  He was in quite a lot of pain and I had to be there to support him through it!  It would have been 10 times worse if I wasn't there to help him, as his partner of over 21 years, I knew exactly how to support him and give him the medication and treatment that he needed.

Thank you to the Angels for guiding me to trust my intuition.  And to my wonderful friend too.  As it turns out, we are meeting for a coffee chat this afternoon, so now we have something else to talk about - TRUSTING YOUR INTUITION.  Peace x

People ask me all the time, "how did I manage to get such an amazing domain name. "Well", I will say, "that is a bit of a miracle story" - and then, I start telling them the story. To begin with, peace.co.nz was owned by the international Peace Software company based here in NZ and Australia for as far back as the internet existed - there was absolutely no chance at all that I would ever own that dream domain name (or so I thought).  However, after having the most amazing time at the Whitianga Peace Festival last Dec/Jan, I came home enthusiastic and inspired and determined to buy a good domain name and set up a website for the festival and fairs.

I immediately started looking for a domain name, but couldn't find anything really exciting or appropriate - it was quite disheartening.  I then remember sitting at my computer desk, when I heard a distinct voice in my head say to me, "type in your dream domain name and see what happens". My logical mind was saying, don't do it, the result will be the same - peace.co.nz is owned by the Peace Software company and you will never have it!  My second thought was, well, I can't feel any worse than I do already, so why not?   I put in a search on my dream domain name...... and there it was, peace.co.nz - soon to be available for public acquisition.

I was in complete shock, could this be real? It was late in the evening, and too late to call anyone, so after a very sleepless night I contacted the Peace Software company to find out if (a) this information was correct, and (b), was there a chance that I could be considered for ownership of the domain.

As it turned out, it was true and yes, they would consider my application for ownership of the domain name!  I was told that the Peace Software had just joined a much larger company in the United States and therefore did not need their domain names anymore (they also owned the domain name, 'peace.com').

This is when I was introduced to a wonderful man by the name of, Thomas Drake. Thomas was my 'Archangel Michael', he totally supported and believed in me and my passion for peace, and, he did everything he could to help me get the domain name.  Finally, after a nervous month of liaising and negotiating to and fro; and including several important board meetings in Australia,  I got the call I was  hoping for from Thomas - my application to own the domain 'peace.co.nz' had been approved.  INCREDIBLE!

Well, I truly felt like I had just won Lotto - I was ecstatic!  And what was even better than that, was the fact that the Peace Software company was giving the domain name to me for free -  they believed in me too!  All it was going to cost me was a small domain transfer fee.  Now, I felt like I had won the Lotto twice :)

So, there's the story behind how I got the domain name, 'peace.co.nz' .  I just want to say a great BIG thank you to the Universe and my guardian angel,  Thomas Drake.   I am truly blessed.

Well, this is my very first blog everyone!  I guess over time I will get to know how to do everything properly, well that's the plan.  Because it's a lovely sunny day outside, I grabbed Anthony and took this photo out by our abundant lemon tree!
